If you are finding that your harness is not tightening evenly, or that the straps are not fully tightened (even when pulling from the back) then your car seat harness straps may have become unbalanced.

To balance your car seat harness straps

1. Ensure your car seat harness is unbuckled
2. Release straps from the clip on the reverse
3. Pull the straps through from the front of the car seat
4. Hold straps vertically to assess if they are balanced (balanced = the same length)
5. If the straps are unbalanced, balance them by adjusting the straps from the bottom of the car seat. Repeat until straps are even
6. When balanced, buckle the harness to prevent straps twisting before re-threading and re-attaching the straps to the clip on the back
